Keke Palmer Throws Shade at Her Judgmental Boyfriend & We Love to See Her Stand Her Ground

Keke Palmer has been an absolute motherhood icon ever since she announced her pregnancy during her Saturday Night Live monologue. The comedian welcomed her son Leodis in February — who she shares with her [hopefully-not-for-long] boyfriend Darius Jackson — and her recent posts are proving she’s just as legendary postpartum.

Jackson publicly shamed Palmer in one of the grossest displays of chauvinism we’ve seen in a long time (see the full deets below), and now she’s giving fans a master class on how to throw some major shade at misogynistic a-holes.

The actress posted a video of her singing “Isn’t She Lovely” to Leodis over the weekend, and it’s so precious. She also included some super sweet pictures of her and the infant and shared screenshots of the new shirts she’s selling because of Jackson’s BS. And the best part? The epic caption.

“One thing is certain and one thing is true, IM A MOTHA, through and through! 😍,” she wrote in response to Jackson’s bigoted view on motherhood. “To all my mom’s out there, how did your baby change you?? Mine empowered me! On such another level, my perspective changed because when my baby is good I’m GREAT!”

Yes, Keke, yes! Go after him! Fans were in agreement, knowing exactly what she was doing with that caption and flooding her comments with praise.

“Period because no man going to invalidate your motherhood, or try to publicly shame you.” “And she didn’t even address or disrespect him in public…A Queen and A Motha.” “The best passive-aggressive response in history.”

ICYMI: Jackson took to Twitter last week and publicly shamed Palmer for being a hot af mama. She wore a beyond-sexy mesh dress that revealed a black bodysuit underneath, and she looked good. Jackson disagreed, and instead of talking to his girlfriend about it one-on-one, he tweeted, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”

It would have been an outrageous thing to say to her in private, but seriously? You’re going to get the internet involved? Bad move, buddy. Bad move.

Followers quickly went on the offensive, destroying him in his comments. “So- she’s a new mom?? And? She looks SO great and is having a great time and not even doing too much.” “She is completely covered? Even if she wasn’t…. Your point is exactly?” “Don’t date a baddie if you’re gonna be this insecure.”

Jackson then doubled down on his comments, digging himself a deeper hole.

“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”

Are you kidding me?! Followers came back with a fiery vengeance. “Sir. Imagine pouting about being the man of a family — but trying to embarrass and check your Queen on her outfit while out with the girls at the Usher show. Whew. Yeah, big man energy right there 😂😅. Real good family leadership you’ve got going on here.”

Followers are also out here reminding Jackson that Palmer is not his wife and are begging her to kick him to the curb!

  • And So The Shade Began

Palmer quickly posted a carousel of photos on Instagram and said, “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late!”

Fans jumped to their feet, giving her a standing ovation in the comments. “YES MAAM!!!!.” “Don’t let baby daddy dictate what you wear! Put that sh*t on!!!”

“You ate the look up and down. It’s giving mother, icon, free woman and we love you, AND support you!❤️,” voice actor Joy Ofodu said, and we couldn’t agree more.

You keep doing you, Keke! We’re absolutely here for it.
