Kate Hudson just got a jest lesson from her son after she posted a video of him on social media without his permission.
The mom of three gathered her children and partner, Danny Fujikawa, to sing a harmonious “Happy Birthday” to her older brother, Oliver Hudson. The “Deepwater Horizon” actress shared the video to her Instagram page and captioned it with a sweet message for her sibling who just turned 43.
“To a man who deserves a huge hip hip hooray for the day he was born!” Hudson wrote. “@oliverhudson you are a special human and we are so grateful for your commitment to being the best human you could possibly be and that we get the benefits of your awesomeness, love and laughter.”
Her eldest son, Ryder Robinson, had some feelings about his mom’s post.
“Mom you didn’t ask me if you could post this,” the 15-year-old wrote, adding a rolling eyes and laughing emoji.
Hudson responded to her son’s comment with a smiling emoji that has little hearts around it.

The mom, who just turned 40 in April, shared a selfiewith her three kids on her birthday.
“My wishes came true,” she wrote with the hashtag #ThisIs40. “Thank you for all the love today.”
The photo appears to be the first image the actress has shared of all three of her children at once on social media.
She shares her newborn, Rani Rose, with partner Danny Fujikawa. Her eldest son is from her previous marriage to musician Chris Robinson, and her middle child she shares with singer Matt Bellamy.
