John Stamos and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, want to give their 6-month-old son, Billy, a sibling. But there’s just one little problem.
“We are trying, but the kid is like a c-block,” Stamos, 55, quipped on the Thursday, October 18, episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan.
The Fuller House actor then shared a story about how McHugh, 32, recently called him to come home because she was ovulating. “We try to do it fast, and start hearing this ‘waaaa waaaa,’” Stamos recalled. “He screeches and that ruined the mood.”
Stamos joked that the model is in a rush to to have a second child because he’s “old.”
Meanwhile, it’s safe to say fatherhood is Stamos’ favorite role. The California-based star admitted he was missing Billy while in New York City promoting his Lifetime series You. “This is the longest I’ve ever been away from him,” Stamos revealed on Thursday, with tears in his eyes.
The couple who tied the knot in February 2018, welcomed Billy on April 10. His middle name is for Christopher Robin, a character in Winnie-the-Pooh. “It’s more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and I dreamt of this for a long time,” Stamos told Us Weekly just days after Billy was born. “He has given me life.”
Billy came along at the perfect time in Stamos’ life. “I’ve had Peter Pan syndrome and it’s time to let that go,” he told Us in April. “Somebody ran up to me and was like, ‘You’re finally gonna look old now that you have a kid.’ I’ll take it!”
