John Legend and his oldest child Luna Simone had some adorable father-daughter bonding time on Friday.
The Grammy winner, 40, and Luna, 2½ — who Legend shares with wife Chrissy Teigen, 33 — spent part of the evening snapping a series of silly snaps Legend shared to his Instagram account.
One photo, simply captioned “Friday night,” showed Legend and Luna smiling and cuddling on the couch.
A second post was a gallery of pictures of Legend and Luna both trying on a long red wig, showing Luna laughing at her dad. “She loves this wig,” Legend wrote.
Teigen admittedly felt like she was missing out while working on a “secret project” with restaurateur David Chang in Marrakech, Morocco. “My babies are having too much fun without me ?,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing two similar wig pics.

The proud dad regularly shares pictures of Luna on his Instagram, and Teigen has also captured the duo’s cute moments together — including that time Luna tried to get her father to stop singing during a vocal warm-up in July.
“No! No! No!” the tiny tot screamed in the clip, pushing on Legend’s legs as he practiced his scales. Teigen captioned the video simply, “#TWO.”
Luna has her supportive moments, too. Back in April, Legend shared a video of his baby girl cheering him on as he performed “A Good Night” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
In the video, Luna was sitting in front of the television clapping along to her dad. At the end of his performance, she gave Legend a huge round of applause while screaming “Yay!” several times.
Since then, things have gotten a little busier in Legend’s household, with Teigen welcoming the couple’s second child — 8-month-old son Miles Theodore — in May.
Earlier this month, the family of four jetted off to a tropical destination for a little R&R, documenting their sun-filled getaway on Instagram.
Both parents have been taking some time off from work in order to spend more time with their family. “There’s a lot of family days,” Legend told PEOPLE in June. “We’ve been home a lot. We haven’t been working much at all. I’ve barely been working and Chrissy hasn’t really been working at all, and so we spend a lot of time at home. We just enjoy each other’s company.”
“A lot of it’s just the nuts and bolts of making sure Miles is fed. Making sure he sleeps well. Making sure we burp him. Making sure we change his diaper. It’s just the practical everyday things of being a parent, and so we’re immersed in that time in his life right now,” he added.
