While people get heated over the details about Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s divorce like it’s a soap opera, people still have to keep in mind that kids are involved, and this ongoing drama isn’t good for anyone. That being said, it seems that after many accused Jonas of trying to spin the media against Turner, that may have backfired.
Most recently, Turner sued Jonas for allegedly withholding their daughters’ passports from them so they couldn’t go home to England. Within this lawsuit, it was found that the daughters are now under Turner’s care, after being with their dad on tour for months on end.
“The children are currently temporarily physically located with the Mother within the Southern District of New York,” the document obtained by People said.
Before this, their daughters were with Jonas since Turner returned to her acting career and went back to England to film the upcoming series Joan. Per People, insiders said: “She has been shooting which is why the kids have been with Joe. It’s just been easier because she’s been working for the kids to be with him because there’s some more support at home and on the road with his family. It’s something they both agreed was best.”
But, as stated before, their daughters are with the Game of Thrones alum now, and they’ve been seen out and about, having such a sweet time together.

For those that don’t know, Jonas and Turner started dating in 2016, and later married in 2019. They welcomed two daughters named Willa and another daughter whose name they haven’t released, but is going by the initials D.J. They announced their divorce in Sept 2023 after news broke that Jonas retained a divorce lawyer.
