Missing her mom! Jana Kramer’s 3-year-old daughter, Jolie, struggles when the actress travels for work.
“So hard being away even for a day,” the One Tree Hill alum, 35, captioned a FaceTime screenshot on her Instagram Story on Monday, June 17. “But it’s for [her]! So I hope one day she will see that and understand.” In the emotional mother-daughter pic, tears ran down the toddler’s face while she talked to her mom.
“A day,” Kramer’s friend Julie Solomon messaged her. “It’s really not hard. Relax. I’m an a–hole.”
The singer and her husband, Michael Caussin, welcomed their daughter in 2016. Their son Jace, now 6 months, arrived two years later.
“She’s been super helpful,” the Michigan native told Us Weekly exclusively of Jolie’s transition into big sisterhood. “She’s so sweet.”
Kramer opened up about their future family plans in April, telling Us exclusively, “[Caussin] has a vasectomy appointment scheduled next week, so we’re done, but we might adopt later in life.”
After the athlete’s surgery, though, the “Beautiful Lies” singer admitted that she was having second thoughts. “I have honestly regretted the vasectomy,” she told Us exclusively earlier this month. “The fact that Jace started to sit up now, this is going to be the last crib in the house. He’s going to be a year in six months. … To know that we won’t have a baby ever again, that saddens me. We’re still young. We could have more kids. … Maybe when I’m 40, I’d stop.”
Caussin reminded his wife: “I don’t want to raise kids until I’m 70. Come on, don’t you want to have fun at the end of our life, and be able to travel, and do things together? I look forward to those moments. If we keep having kids, that ain’t happening, sweetie.”
The couple tied the knot in 2015. They renewed their vows two years later after Caussin sought treatment for his sex addiction.
