No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani only has eyes for her Voice co-star Blake Shelton (and vice versa), but she and ex-husband Gavin Rossdale are working hard to co-parent their three boys — Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5 — in a civil fashion.
An inside source confided in Us Weekly that Stefani and Rossdale have finally “found a happy medium” when it comes to co-parenting.
Rossdale of the band Bush told Us back in May, “You know, we both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less!… They’re really happy… We’re doing the best we can.”
The sailing was not always so smooth for the exes, who split with rancor after it was revealed that Rossdale was having an affair with the couple’s nanny. Stefani is currently in the process of trying to get her marriage to Rossdale annulled so that she may marry Shelton in a church, according to the inside source. The annulment process can take up to a year.
And Shelton is loving being part of the boys’ lives, another source told Us in June. “Blake loves getting dirty with the boys…they’re always playing basketball or running around. They love it there [at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch] because it’s just the five of them out on the land, hunting or hiking.”
Stefani and Shelton recently took a big step together and purchased a shared home in Los Angeles.
It seems like Stefani’s painful past with Rossdale is truly behind her. She talked with Shape for its November 2019 issue and confessed, “I feel as if I spent the last four years healing — you know, trying to build my life again. Having a best friend like Blake to help me do that has been one of the greatest gifts.”

And we’re pretty sure the feeling’s mutual, judging from this birthday tweet from Shelton to Stefani.
Ah, love plus happy co-parenting. What more can you ask for?
