The Van Der Beeks
Dawson’s about to be a father of six, y’all! James and wife Kimberly are parents to Olivia, 8, Joshua, 7, Annabel, 5, Emilia, 3, and Gwendolyn, 14 months. They announced in October 2019 that they are expecting their sixth child!
“Thrilled beyond belief to announce that another little bundle of joy has picked us to be their family,” James wrote on Instagram when he made the announcement.
The family chose to show their first ultrasound while James was competing on Dancing with the Stars. The actor shared that they made the decision after Kimberly suffered three miscarriages.
James explained, “We decided to put ourselves out there – not knowing what we’d find – in an effort to chip away at any senseless stigma around this experience and to encourage people who might be going through it to open themselves up to love & support from friends and family when they need it most. Happily, for us – this time- we walked out with tears of joy.”

She and husband Dean McDermott are parents to daughters Stella, 9, and Hattie, 6, and sons Liam, 11, Finn, 5, and Beau, 1. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star opened up about her big family in a Mother’s Day Instagram post. “Beau, we thought we were done,” she wrote, addressing her youngest son. “That our family was complete. The Ciccones
Adding to her brood, which already consisted of four kids — Lourdes, 21, with ex Carlos Leon, and Rocco, 17, David Banda, 12, and Mercy James, 12 with ex-husband Guy Ritchie — the legendary performer adopted two orphaned twin girls, Esther and Stella, from Malawi in 2017. “I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family,” she wrote on Instagram, confirming the news. Before her marriage and subsequent split from husband Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie made the decision to adopt Maddox, 16, from Cambodia in 2002, as well as daughter Zahara, 11, from Ethiopia in 2005 and son Pax, 14, from Vietnam in 2007. “It’s strange, I never wanted to have a baby. I never wanted to be pregnant. I never babysat. I never thought of myself as a mother,” the actress told Access Hollywood in 2016, reminiscing about her time playing with children at a Cambodian school. (She’s also mother to Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 9, with Brad.) “It was suddenly very clear to me that my son was in the country, somewhere.”
