Ah, the nostalgia of childhood toys.

Every year since 1998, the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, N.Y., has inducted toys into its National Toy Hall of Fame.

The latest additions, announced Thursday, include the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering, Matchbox cars and the coloring book.

Last year, it added the Magic 8 Ball, Uno and pinball.

It’s HOF list now includes 71 toys, all of which are housed inside the museum.

Obvious favorite include Atari, Barbie, Candy Land, Etch A Sketch, Mr. Potato Head, Legos and, of course, Play-Doh.

Some might be considered misses like cardboard boxes, blankets and sticks.

The winners – chosen each year by a committee of national experts, including toy collectors, professors and psychologists – stand the test of time, are widely recognized and encourage learning, creativity and discovery through play over generations, the museum says.
