Eva Longoria’s ‘Lazy Sunday’ With Her Baby Looks Heavenly

Eva Longoria better frame the photo shared on Sunday, August 19. In the picture, the actress — who is makeup-free and glowing — cradles her 2-month-old son, Santiago, to her chest. She captioned the shot: “Lazy Kinda Sunday.”

The Desperate Housewives alum, 43, welcomed her first child with husband José Baston on June 19. While this is Longoria’s first baby, the media mogul shares four kids with ex-wife Natalia Esperón.

“We need a diaper bag that is refrigerated for both the wine bottle and the baby bottles,” she joked in a new interview with Hello! magazine published on Monday, August 20. “Pepe’s been through this before — the youngest is 14 . . . For me it’s like the beginning, so it’s beautiful for us to experience this together.”

Before she met Baston, the Overboard actress didn’t put much thought into having a family. “I think children are a product of love and so I finally met the person I wanted to do that with,” she revealed in the story published on Monday, August 20. “When Pepe and I met we didn’t really talk about children; we just fell in love, so it was never this topic that was discussed. We said: ‘If it happens, it happens. If God blesses us, then that’s great.’ And that’s what happened.’”

Soon Longoria will return to work to direct ABC soap drama Grand Hotel, and she’s understandably feeling a bit sad. “My son will be 2 and a half months old and I can’t even think about it right now,” she explained. “I enjoy our routine and our days together. People tell me: ‘Get ready to be tired,’ but I’m not. I actually miss him when he’s sleeping.”

She continued: “It’s funny, people used to say: ‘How do you do it all? And I’d say: ‘I don’t have children.’ I could direct, I could go to Paris, go do an endorsement in China. Now it’s different because he’s here but different in the best way possible.”
