Eddie Murphy has another little one! The actor and his fiancée, Paige Butcher, have welcomed their second child together and his 10th overall, his rep confirms to Us Weekly. Son Max Charles Murphy was born on Friday, November 30, weighing 6 lbs., 11 oz. and was 19 inches long.
“Both mother and son are doing well,” the rep adds.
Murphy, 57, announced in August that Butcher, 39, was pregnant after she debuted her baby bump while out and about in Beverly Hills.
The couple, who are also the parents of 2-year-old daughter Izzy, met on the set of the 2006 comedy Big Momma’s House 2, but they did not start dating until six years later. After Butcher stepped out wearing a large diamond ring in September, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that the pair got engaged.
Murphy has eight other children from previous relationships. He shares son Eric, 29, with Paulette McNeely; daughters Bria, 28, Shayne, 24, Zola, 18, and Bella, 16, and son Miles, 26, with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy; son Christian, 28, with Tamara Hood; and daughter Angel, 11, with Spice Girl Mel B.
“They’re grown. I wouldn’t say ‘old.’ None of my children are gray and balding,” the Oscar nominee joked to Entertainment Tonight in August 2016. “The brightest part of my life is my kids. My world revolves around them — even the old, gray bald ones.”
Murphy was previously married to Mitchell Murphy, 50, from 1993 to 2006.
