Cute Cousins! Haylie Duff Says Her and Hilary’s Daughters Will ‘Be Homies’

Built-in best friends! Haylie Duff and her sister, Hilary Duff, welcomed baby girls four months apart and love having daughters close in age.

“That’s what we always wanted was to have our kids grow up together,” the Real Girls Kitchen host, 34, told Us Weekly exclusively on the set of Hallmark’s Home & Family on Monday, April 22. “When she had Luca, and I was nowhere near ready to have kids, we sort of were like, ‘Maybe we’re not going to have that happen?’ Then now this second time around, it’s been nice because they’re all really little still together.”

Haylie added: “Yesterday we had them in the high chairs eating together and it was cute. We really dorkily like to match them and dress them up in the same outfits.”

The Little Moon Society creator welcomed Lulu in July 2018, joining older sister Ryan, 3. The Lizzie McGuire alum, 31, gave birth to Banks in October 2018 with boyfriend Matthew Koma after welcoming Luca in 2012 with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.

So do the little ones get along? “[Lulu and Banks] really like to just sit there and look at each other and sort of poke at each other and play with each other’s toys and stuff, so I think they’re gonna be homies,” Haylie told Us.

As for Ryan, she is loving big sisterhood and has “never had that moment where she’s mad about the baby,” the 7th Heaven alum explained. “She’s obsessed with her, and I don’t know if I just hit a great age difference or what the formula is there or if she’s just a great kid, but she’s so happy about it every day. She’s really sweet and loving to her.”
