A very special guest joined Christina Aguilera on stage recently: her daughter Summer Rain! The “Beautiful” singer shared a series of rare snaps for her 9-year-old daughter’s birthday, and they prove that Summer is just as comfortable on stage as her famous mama.

“Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Summer Rain 🌦️,” Aguilera began a sweet caption on Instagram. He first photo is a black-and-white snap of Aguilera and Summer on stage, facing a crowded audience. They have matching long hair and black outfits on.
The next photo shows the front of the two, as Aguilera smiles down at her daughter and Summer looks in awe at the cheering audience. She even shared a short clip of Aguilera singing and dancing on stage with her daughter.
The last photo shows Summer smiling behind a drumset! It seems like Aguilera’s genes are strong in this one. (See the photos HERE.)

Sweet Tribute

“Today I find myself reflecting on how fast time has gone by,” the “Genie In a Bottle” singer wrote on Instagram. “These 9 years have been filled with boundless love, heartwarming hugs, staying up too late, Disney adventures, and most recently, the joy of gracing the stage alongside you. ✨” Aww!
She continued, “Every day, I thank the universe for gifting me the privilege of being your momma, a role that stands as my ultimate accomplishment. Witnessing the remarkable young woman you are evolving into fills me with immense pride. Mommy loves you so much!” How sweet is that?!

Rutler shared his own birthday tribute to his daughter. He shared a video of Summer going on stage with her mom and dancing, while he hung out in the background. He also shared a cute video of Summer pretending to eat the sun as it was setting over a pretty water background. She may be a pop star’s daughter, but she’s still just a kid at heart!
“Happy 9th Birthday to our little sunshine 🙂 😘🎂🥳,” he captioned the post.

Full-Circle Moment

“It’s moments like these that truly make what I do worthwhile ❤️,” Aguilera wrote on Twitter. “Making new memories around the world with my family and seeing my daughter capture her experiences in her own creative way has been the greatest reward 🎨✨.”
She also shared photos of Summer sitting on the floor and drawing pictures of her mama’s show and audience during a performance in Chile. The fact that she now gets to see that audience up close and personal while on stage with her mom is making us tear up a little bit. What a sweet full-circle moment!
