Celebs Support Jenny Mollen After She Reveals She Dropped Son on His Head, Fracturing His Skull

Jenny Mollen is surrounded by love from her fans and famous friends.

Hours after revealing that she had accidentally dropped her 5-year-old son Sid on his head — causing him to suffer a skull fracture that resulted in an emergency trip to the hospital — celebrities have left numerous comments of support for the mom of two on her Instagram post, where she shared the “traumatic” news late Wednesday night.

“Oh my god Jenny that is so scary and I’m so sorry you guys are going through this. Fast recovery for Sid! Sending love ❤️❤️❤️,” wrote Krysten Ritter, who is currently pregnant with her first child.

“@jennymollen sending you and your family my love,” said Angela Kinsey. “I am so glad Sid is okay!! That must have been so scary. As parents we try our best but things can go south in a split second. Thank you for sharing. ❤️”

“I can’t even imagine,” chimed in new mom Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch. “Thank you for sharing with us — accidents like this are probably much more common than anyone wants to admit. Sending lots of healing vibes to Sid and you and the rest of the family. ❤️”

Erika Christensen praised Mollen’s “good work” for “getting life back on track” since the Saturday incident, adding, “Jesus, it makes me cry. ??”

Other stars like Rachel Bilson and Claire Holt left simple messages of support for Mollen in the form of loving emojis, while Aviva Drescher wrote, “Ugh!!! Glad all is ok !!!!! Soooo scary. S— happens. My favorite four words ‘it could have been worse’ phew xoxoxo.”

“Sending so much love ??,” Jill Kargman commented, and Stephanie Gottlieb said, “Sending love ❤️ stay strong mama ?? Hope he feels better soon!”

Mollen’s friend Stacey Bendet, of Alice + Olivia, remarked that the incident made Sid “officially an nyc kid!” because “it’s like a rite of passage to end up at Lennox Hill with some concrete induced stitches!”

Mollen, 39, revealed the news on Instagram Wednesday night, explaining that Sid, whom she shares with husband Jason Biggs, had been in the intensive care unit this week.

“I am forever grateful to Lenox Hill downtown and @nyphospital for their immediate response and aid,” Mollen captioned a post, which showed herself flashing a somber smile while holding Sid, whose face is covered with an emoji. (Biggs and Mollen do not show photos of their children’s faces on social media.)

“Thank you to all of the nurses, neurologists, pediatricians, residents, cafeteria staff and brave women that keep the visitor’s bathroom clean. Not sure how this post turned into an Oscars acceptance speech… But @biggsjason Thank god for you! Thank god, thank god, thank god,” the actress and author continued.

“It has been a traumatic week,” she admitted.

Despite the circumstances, Mollen — who also shares 18-month-old Lazlo with Biggs, 40 — said Sid is now home “taking things slowly and recovering nicely.”

“He is also eating a lot of chocolate dipped ice cream cones and plans to try cherry dipped soon,” she joked.

Mollen concluded the post by comforting those who have experienced what she has gone through: “My heart goes out to all parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position. You are not alone … “
