Carrie Underwood Says Her Second Pregnancy Is Harder Than Her First

Carrie Underwood’s pregnancy with her second child is posing some new challenges the singer didn’t experience with her son, Isaiah.

"It’s definitely different than the first time," Underwood told Entertainment Tonight at the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year ceremony. "When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms. I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it’s been really good."

Underwood announced on Instagram in August that she and her husband, former hockey player Mike Fisher, were "over-the-moon excited to be adding another little fish" to their pond. Underwood told ET that 3-year-old Isaiah is excited too, but he’s already laid down one big brother ground rule: He won’t be changing "any poopy diapers." Can’t blame the kid, really!

While Underwood and her hubby haven’t revealed the sex of the child, they have picked out a name. But don’t expect to learn it anytime soon; the family plans to keep that information private for the time being. For now, they’re focusing on moving and stocking up on baby supplies.

"We’re fixing to move," Underwood said. "I haven’t bought anything yet, we still have some of the stuff, cribs and stuff from my son, but we’ll figure it out. We’re about to move, so I’ll start buying stuff once we’re there. It’d be pointless to buy it and then move it."

Sounds practical to us!

Moving is only one thing on Underwood’s plate this fall. The country music superstar recently received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, released a new song for Sunday Night Football and performed at the American Music Awards. Not to mention, she’s probably busy prepping for her May 2019 "Cry Pretty Tour 360."

Don’t slow down now, Carrie. We have a feeling the best is yet to come.
