Four-year-old Kulture Kiari is having a hard time letting her dad Offset go. Cardi B captured the tear-jerker moment of the toddler trying to convince the “Open It Up” rapper not to go to work, and it’s so incredibly sweet.
“She loves him more [than] anybody,” Cardi B wrote on her Instagram Stories yesterday. She shared a video of Offset, dressed in a black McDonalds hoodie and pants, and Kulture, in her school uniform, standing by the front door of their house.
Kulture runs to the front door to close it, and Cardi B says, “C’mon Kulture, he gotta go. He gotta go, baby, he gonna miss his flight.”
She closes the door and smiles at her dad, who says, “C’mon, baby, I gotta go. C’mon girl.”
“But I don’t want you to leave,” she says.
“I know, baby, but I gotta go to work,” he responds. It’s so heart-melting — and so relatable. I feel like all parents have experienced this with our kids at one point or another. But that doesn’t make it any easier!

She Tries Her Best to Convince Offset Not to Leave
Later, Kulture asks Offset why he has to go to work, and he responds, “So I can buy you all the stuff you want! You want princess Barbies, you want princess dresses, you want everything. I gotta work!” So, so true.
Kulture, who has been holding some cash in her hand this entire time, counters with a reasonable argument. “But you got money already. I saw it upstairs!” How can you argue with logic like that?
Offset says, “That ain’t nothing but chump change. That can’t pay the bills. That’s just like, a little bit of money.”
He then picks her up to hug her as she cries, “No!” It’s so heart-breaking having to leave your kids to go to work sometimes, isn’t it? Especially on business trips.
In another video shared to her Stories, Kulture is clinging to her daddy as he walks. “Big ass daddy girl,” she captioned it.
He told her he was going to be late, and she asked, “But you’re leaving your clothes?” He confirms, “Yeah, I’m leaving my clothes here, I’m going to come right back.” She dramatically responds, “No you’re not, you’re coming back in 2000 days!” making both her parents laugh.
As he goes to walk out the door, she starts screaming and he comes back for one more hug. “I don’t want you to leave,” she says. This will definitely pull at your heart strings.

Kulture’s Brother Wave Cheers Her Up
Later, Kulture seems all cheered up in a new video with her little brother Wave Set, 20 months. Cardi B shared the video to her Instagram Stories, showing Kulture and Wave sitting on the counter eating marshmallows out of the bag.
It’s all fun and games until Wave starts screaming, prompting Cardi B to snap, “Stop it!” We’ve all been there!

Cardi B & Offset Want Their Kids to Learn to Recognize Their Privilege
Despite showering their kids with expensive gifts (like stacks of cash!), Cardi B wants her children to recognize their privilege.
“They need to know to never feel comfortable. Don’t ever feel like, ‘I’m going to get it because I’m Cardi and Offset’s kid,’” she told Vogue Singapore in July 2022. “They are never going to know what struggle feels like, so they might not have that hunger I had to leave the streets.”
She went on, “Even though my kids are well-off, I want them to know that when you work for things and achieve it, it’s more respected—especially when people see that you bust your ass for it.”
It may be hard for Kulture to see her dad go to work, but it’ll also teach her a valuable life lesson about working hard for your money. She’ll appreciate it one day!
