Cardi B learned the hard way that giving birth is no easy feat — and she wants to tell you all about it. The chart-topping rapper and new mother shared her painful experience with Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday night and didn’t mince her words.
"She broke my vagina," Cardi said of her 4-month-old daughter, Kulture. "Why nobody told you about those things? Nobody told me they were going to stitch my vagina. People be like, ‘When you give birth, it’s going to hurt,’ but nobody tells you."
Clearly, Cardi didn’t do a quick Google search on what it’s like to give birth. If she had, she probably would have found this slideshow from the Mayo Clinic outlining different types of vaginal tears. Perhaps she even would have learned that vaginal and perineal tearing during childbirth is totally normal and, in most cases, heals easily with the help of simple stitches. Is it comfortable? Honestly, no. But millions of women who have gone through the postpartum-healing process can attest to the fact that things will get better down there over time.
Though the experience left her shaken, it hasn’t dissuaded her from having more children in the future. In fact, she’s already thinking of expanding her brood.
In addition to tweeting about wanting to get pregnant again, Cardi told Kimmel she would like to have three or four kids, and she’s willing to sacrifice peace to make it happen.
"I do feel like I need rest, but the happiness that my baby brung [sic] me, it’s just like, ‘I could do this over and over again," she said.

And yes, she knows that her kids are likely to inherit her no-filter attitude, especially since Kulture already has. "She’s very feisty," Cardi said. "My husband used to tell me, ‘Stop screaming and stop catching an attitude when you’re pregnant because you’re going to pass that to the baby.’ And it’s like, ‘I did.’"
Something tells us dealing with pesky postpartum stitches will be the least of Cardi’s parenting troubles.
