Pink announced with a flourish of middle finger emojis that she’s disabling the comments on her 6.4 million-follower Instagram page.
The announcement came two days after the pop star believed she had to defend posting a picture of her children, Willow, 8, and Jameson, 2, running through the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. Just more than a week earlier, critics on her page shamed Pink for taking her kids to the zoo.
Pink is done with the parenting police, of which both she and husband Carey Hart have a long history on social media. Hart is shown smiling and drinking a glass of wine on a colorful pool float in the post where she announces fans won’t get their say anymore.
“Just a friendly reminder to those of you that need it: (middle finger emoji) there will be no more comments on this page!” she said.

History of headlines for haters
Both Pink and Hart have made headlines for their parenting choices in the last year.
- Hart joking about “parent fail 287” as Willow popped balloons with a knife.
- Hart shutting down critics who claimed he exposed his contagious son Jameson to others.
- Choosing to make family taco night public on social media.
- Pink calling “keyboard warriors” “disgusting” for posting a photo of her son without a diaper.
The 39-year-old Grammy winner tried to say goodbye to haters before on “Ellen” by saying she just wasn’t going to post photos of her children anymore on social media. She changed her mind, and mommy-shamers instantly showed up.
Now she’s going to post all the photos she wants but she won’t have to listen to any mean comments.
She also shared in her “no comments” reminder post:
“Hahahaha! (four middle finger emojis) looks like you’re gonna have to go tell it on the mountain!!!!!,” she wrote. “Good luck to ya! And to everyone else; I love you forever. (prayer emoji, middle finger emoji, thumbs up emoji, rock on emoji, four middle finger emojis.)”
