His son is only 10 days old, but Andy Cohen has already started dreaming about the things he can’t wait to experience alongside little Benjamin Allen as he grows up.
“First day of school, bar mitzvah, just tucking him in, being on the beach with him,” the Bravo star, 50, tells PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle for this week’s issue of PEOPLE about the memories he’s most looking forward to making with his son.
“I’m in a place in my life where I have a pretty generous schedule and where I can afford to pick up and go somewhere for the weekend,” explains Cohen, who’s the host of Watch What Happens Live.
“I’m excited to go on adventures with him and show him the world,” the new dad muses. “I want to see him running around a big green yard. I want to teach him to swim.”

But there’s another very important member of Cohen’s family who will undoubtedly be a big part of Benjamin’s life, too — just not yet.
“Wacha has not met Benjamin yet,” he explains of his rescue dog. “I want to get Benjamin acclimated to the space and get us acclimated to everything.”
“And then that dog is going to bound in here in a few days. He’ll be back,” Cohen continues. “There’s gonna be a bris [a Jewish circumcision ceremony], and then the dog will appear.”

Cohen couldn’t be more thankful for the support surrounding him from family and fellow famous pals as he takes on the challenging task of single fatherhood.
“Kelly Ripa helped me find my baby nurse, who’s incredible. Sarah Jessica [Parker] sat with me for three hours on a Saturday and helped me do my registry. And she lent me clothes and burp cloths that she had saved from her kids,” he recalls to Cagle.
“I want Benny to be surrounded by as many women as possible,” Cohen shares. “Women have played such a key role in my life. My most important relationship has probably been with my mom. He will be surrounded by women. He needs it. We all need it.”
