From his big blue eyes to his adorable dimples, Anderson Cooper’s son Wyatt is such a cute little kid! The CNN anchor recently posted new pictures of his firstborn for his third birthday, and the toddler is his dad’s mini-me!
“This little peanut turned 3 today!” Cooper wrote on Instagram yesterday. “Wyatt Morgan Maisani-Cooper.”
He added, “He and his brother Sebastian are the greatest blessings I could ever have hoped for.”

The first picture shows the 3-year-old holding up a smiley-faced sandwich and sporting a matching smiling grin. He’s wearing a white Mickey Mouse t-shirt and jeans as he gazes up at the camera. The next photo in the slide shows some fatherly love. Cooper has his arms wrapped tightly around Wyatt as they share a booth at a restaurant. He gives his son a kiss on the forehead as Wyatt laughs.
Slide to photo three to see Cooper posing with his co-parent and ex-partner Benjamin Maisani, who is holding the duo’s other son Sebastian Luke, 1.

Andy Cohen Gave Anderson Cooper a Funny Warning
Friend and fellow dad Andy Cohen, who is dad to Ben, 4, and Lucy, 11 months, commented on the Anderson Cooper 360 host’s post. “Happy birthday to the most consistently sweet boy in all our lives!” he wrote.
Cohen then gave Anderson a little piece of advice: “Anderson – the 3’s are a TRIP!!”
Oh boy, are they! You just think the terrible twos are bad, but it’s like the screaming, tantrums, independence, and defiance seems to ramp up a notch once your toddler turns 3. Good think Cooper has some experienced friends to help him get through it!
Others commented on his post as well. “He is your twin. I hope he has your laugh, too. ❤️” one person said.
“Anderson’s mini me❤️❤️❤️,” another commented.
Someone else gave some hope for the year. “3 is such a fun age!” they said. “Smart, silly, inquisitive and honest innocence. Happy 3rd birthday to Wyatt❤️.”

Anderson Cooper & Benjamin Maisani Share Two Kids
It’s important that Cooper maintains a positive co-parenting relationship with his ex Maisani. The two split in 2018 but remain committed to raising their sons.
In an interview on The Howard Stern Show in May 2020, Cooper explained their unusual arrangement, “I don’t really have a family, and so my friends become my family, and this is somebody I was involved with for 10 years; he’s a great guy.”
Cooper’s dad died when he was just 10, and his mom Gloria Vanderbilt wasn’t a super involved parent. “She was not the most parental person,” Cooper said. “And I wish some adult, after my dad died, had stepped in and just been like, ‘You know what? I’ll take you to a ball game,’ or ‘Let’s go out to lunch every now and then. Let’s just talk.’ No one ever did that. And so I thought, ‘Well if something happens to me — or even if something doesn’t happen to me — if more people love my son and are in his life, I’m all for that.’”
He added, “My ex is a great guy and I think it’s good to have two parents if you can. He’s already speaking French to him. I have no idea what he’s saying. He could be turning the kid against me; I don’t know.”

Sebastian Turned 1 In February
Sebastian turned 1 in February, which Cooper marked with an adorable video on Instagram. In it, he’s listening to lullaby from a music box.
“Sebastian just celebrated his 1st birthday! He loves listening to an old music box that belonged to my mom,” Cooper wrote in the caption. “Sebastian is sweet and strong and smart and loves his big brother Wyatt a lot.”
He added, “They fill my heart with joy and love in a way i never imagined possible. Happy Birthday Sebastian!”
It’s obvious how much Cooper loves his sons, and it’s so precious to see.
