“My mom lives with us. She’s our nanny,” the actress, 34, recently said on Molner’s Table of Ann Seyfried. “My life is awesome because she is the third parent for us. I am so lucky — I know I am.”

The Mean Girls star added that her mom “wakes up early” and spends time with the toddler if she and the Newsroom alum, 44, are still in bed.

“When my daughter gets up, she either comes in our room or she goes downstairs,” the Pennsylvania native explained to John Molner. “If we’re still sleeping it’s great, ’cause she can hang out with my mom. … These days, it’s been me waking up and going downstairs, drinking coffee and hanging out with my daughter and then Tommy feeding [the animals].”

Amanda loves that her family is able to live “together” in upstate New York amid the coronavirus pandemic.

She and Sadoski welcomed their baby girl in 2017. Two years later, the Connecticut native exclusively told Us Weekly that the little one is “obsessed with music” like her mom.

“She’s got great rhythm, she’s got great pitch,” he told Us in November 2019. “She’s 2 and a half years old, and she’s on pitch. It’s amazing. It’s possible to be an astronaut and have great pitch. Mathematicians are usually great pianists and violinists. She’s going to be whatever she wants to be and I’m going to give her that choice.”

Sadoski will support his daughter “all the way” in “whatever her calling is, whatever’s going to make her happy,” he gushed at the time.

When it comes to Amanda’s passions, the Big Love alum’s daughter will “not let” her sing. “She’s smart,” the singer explained to Entertainment Tonight in June. “I’ve [got to] think of a way to [negotiate] because I’m a singer, and if she starts walking out of the room when I start singing, I’m going to get, like, an even bigger complex than I already have.”
