All the Kids' Shows & Movies Coming to Netflix in October

The air may be getting chilly, but the Netflix lineup for October is heating up with a ton of kids’ shows and movies making their network debut. After all, cuddling up on the couch with some apple cider, a bowl of caramel popcorn, and a great movie is the absolute best way to spend some quality time with the fam on a fall evening. Or you could just put something entertaining on to occupy the kids while you assemble the DIY Halloween costume that sounded like a good idea at the time ( … or, you know, get into the Halloween candy stash before the trick-or-treaters. Hey, we don’t judge!).

Speaking of Halloween, Netflix already has an amazing selection of not-so-spooky, family-friendly movies — you can see them all here, under the “Family Halloween Treats” heading. But there are also some new treats coming to the lineup in October: Casper, Strawberry Shortcake and the Beast of Berry Bog, and I Woke Up a Vampire.

Grab the biggest blanket you’ve got, some pumpkin spice flavored anything, and make a date with your kids (and your couch!). It’s time to take full advantage of all the kids’ shows and movies coming to Netflix in October!
