When you look at Alicia Silverstone’s fridge, the first thing you notice is…wow. That is a LOT of vegetables.
The Clueless actress recently gave Women’s Health a peek inside her super-organized fridge and damn, she makes eating veggies look really, really cool. Here’s what I learned about Cher Horowitz ahem, Alicia, from her fridge:
1. She would never, ever have meat in her fridge.

Animal products? As if! Alicia is vegan (and has been for a long time) and as such, dairy, eggs, meat, and basically anything else that came from an animal is off-limits in her house.
2. She wants you to stop being scared of tofu.

“People think it has too much estrogen,” Alicia says, “[and] they think it’s going to have men grow boobies and things like that which is ridiculous!” (And she’s right—that fear is a myth that has been totally debunked.)
Tofu, Alicia says, is a good staple to have around because “you can transform this into anything.” She likes to bread it and fry it, or blend it up with other ingredients and turn it into pudding.
3. She’s not afraid to eat veggies for breakfast.
A typical breakfast for Alicia and her son Bear includes a vegetable (whether it’s kale or bok choy) with some kind of whole grain. For example: blanched kale with squeezed lemon, flaxseed oil, and umeboshi plum vinegar.
“Sometimes we’ll have steel-cut oats,” she says (you know, a more typical breakfast), “but the green is the important part.”
4. Which is understandable because she grows most of them herself.

“Bear and I love to go into the garden,” she says. “All of these tomatoes came from the garden, the basil, green beans…” They pick out veggies together and cook with them. Aww.
5. She loves to meal prep as much as you do.
“I cook in big batches,” she says, “so I keep things in the freezer, I keep things in containers, I’m always re-using things.” So rice will find life the next day in a stir fry.
And check out the labeling—she is wayyyyyyy more organized than I will ever be. #goals
