All the Kardashian-Jenner Family's Christmas Decorations, Ranked by Jaw-Dropping Price Tag

A lot goes into a Kardashian-Jenner Christmas — including a jaw-dropping decoration budget. From towering trees to life-size glass polar bears, the famous family goes all out to make their yuletide glam, with help from pros like Four Seasons artistic director Jeff Leatham. But which member is shelling out the most to deck their halls?

Ashley Greer, a florist and owner of the D.C.-based Atelier Ashley Flowers, who worked on the Obama White House Christmas trees, helped PEOPLE add up the cost of all the KarJenners’ decor, and rank their holiday swag from (relatively) low-key to completely extravagant.

Cost: $2,000

The model, 23, may have been the highest paid in the industry in 2018 (bringing in $22.5 million) but she keeps her holiday decor pretty simple. Two years ago, she put up a faux-snow flocked tree in her bright pink living room. Greer puts the price of a realistic-looking, 12-foot tree like this one at about $1,400.

“If you have shopped for lights recently, you might have realized they are actually pretty expensive,’ she notes. “It looks like she used around 800 lights and only 36 balls.” Factoring in labor — “It would have taken one person about two hours from start to finish” — Kendall’s overall cost would be about $2,000.

Cost: $10,000

“Who can forget the year that Kim and Kanye first iced their home?” Greer recalls of the couple’s completely light-covered facade at their former Bel Air mansion in 2016. (They sold the house in 2017 for $18 million.) “To date, this is one of my favorite looks for both its simplicity and drama,” Greer says.

Estimating it took a minimum of 200 strands of 200 lights (adding up to 20,000 bulbs), and six people six hours to install, she notes, “I would would price the decor at $10,000.”

Cost: $12,000

“Based on the 2018 photos of Khloe with baby True, her tree appears to be real,” says Greer. It’s decorated in what she estimates to be “300 designer baubles that range in price from $5 to $45-plus,” for a total of about $7,500, plus the cost of the approximately 1,200 lights used. Real trees are cheaper than faux, and one this size, she says, would be about $485 including a stand and delivery.

“What sets this tree apart are the two very fun lifesize reindeer!” says Greer. “You can find very similar ones at christmasnightinc.com for about $950 a piece.”

Cost: $13,000

Kylie’s 2018 centerpiece is a 20-foot, custom-made, gold faux tree. “This is something that most likely would have had to be conceived of and ordered almost as soon as the holidays ended last year,” says Greer who estimates the tree’s price tag is about $6,000.

“The standard rule is to use 100 lights for every foot of tree,” she explains, noting, “for a 20-foot tree, it’s probably closer to 150 lights per foot.” That brings Kylie’s bulb count to 3,000 at a cost of $657.

Add in about 288 balls for $3,560, and labor and delivery charges — Greer says, “I would guess that Jeff [Leatham] had a minimum of six people working for two hours and probably needed a scissor lift to reach the top — for another $2,450, bringing the total Christmas look to $12,667.

Cost: $36,500

Kourtney recently showed off a forest of at least five full-size trees in her home. The two in her entry, which make an appearance each year, “look suspiciously similar to the ones from balsamhill.com,” says Greer. This would put each at $4,500 before decorating. “These trees are most likely pre-lit, saving a time and labor but with all those decorations, would probably still have price tags close to $7,000 each.” (Though Kourtney has said in years past that some of her ornaments come from IKEA!) If the three additional trees she shared a peek at on Instagram are the same, they’d add up to a cool $35,000.

But there’s more Christmas spirit to be found upstairs…

In 2016, Kourtney also had three smaller trees for her children in their rooms. Greer puts Mason’s Darth Vader tree at $650, Penelope’ girly pink trees at $525, and Reign’s animal-theme tree at $325.

Cost: $157,000

The Kardashian matriarch is still the family’s reigning Christmas queen. “In 2015, Kris set the standard for what her children would try to top every year with what looks to be a 20-foot peppermint-bedecked tree with two 15-foot trees flanking, and the bannister done in garland and lights,” says Greer. The realistic center tree may have cost as much as $15,000 fully decorated, with the two side trees coming in at $7,000 each and the bannister treatment costing about $2,000.

“If I had been installing her foyer, I would have staffed ten people for at least eight hours with a scissor lift rental, bringing the labor and delivery charge to $6,000,” says Greer, bringing her entryway alone to $37,000.

Kris’s 2017 decorations also saw the return of a standout Christmas mascot: a red glass-and-metal polar bear made in Paris, according to archdigest.com. It was once the only one of its kind in the U.S. at the time. (Steve Harvey now has a blue one.) “[The bear] is similar to what Jeff Leatham does for the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris,” says Greer. The cost including transport to the States? An estimated $30,000.

Of course, the holiday scene starts before her guests even step inside. Kendall and Kim both documented their mother’s nutcracker suite in 2014. Greer estimates the soldiers would be about $15,000 each and Kris has six.

Greer also notes that Leatham’s celebrity clients likely don’t pay the full price for his services, as a KarJenner sharing his work on their Instagram is essentially priceless.
