Whitney Way Thore Deals with Her Fiancé's Infidelity in New Trailer for My Big Fat Fabulous Life

My Big Fat Fabulous Life's new season will address Whitney Way Thore's shocking split from her now ex-fiancé Chase Severino

In the trailer for season 7 of the hit TLC reality series, Thore, 36, learns Severino cheated on her with another woman and got her pregnant.

The trouble begins as Thore grows concerned over her relationship with Severino as he continues to live and bartend in Wilmington, North Carolina, despite promising his fiancée he'd move in with her in Charlotte.

And the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic adds stress on the already-struggling couple.

"If Chase was living here right now, we'd be quarantined together," Thore says.

As Thore continues to ride out the pandemic, Severino calls her and informs her of his infidelity, leaving the reality star devastated and in shock.

Meanwhile, Severino looks to his friends for support, telling his close pal Ryan Andreas, "No one planned for this to happen. I was hoping you'd be the one person that could be team Chase."

But the drama only continues when months later, Thore is the last to learn that Severino had welcomed his child.

"I'm over here with people who know that my ex-fiancé has had his baby and I don't know. How stupid does that make you feel?" Thore says while holding back tears.

At the end of the trailer, Thore decides to meet with her ex-fiancé face-to-face.

"The sooner that I close this chapter and can pick up the pieces, the sooner I can move on," she says.

Thore announced on May 21 that she and Severino broke off their engagement after the reality star learned that Severino had been with another woman which "resulted in a pregnancy."

Speaking to PEOPLE in June, Thore said she felt it was necessary to go public with the news to stop the “rumors” about the former couple's relationship.

"I learned this news myself fairly recently," she told PEOPLE. "It wasn’t something I’d been sitting with for months and months, but once I saw rumors about our relationship — after I finally deleted our photos on Instagram, for example — I knew I just wanted to get it over with and announce it so I could fully start to move on."

Thore explained she wanted to be fully open about the circumstances — not just that Severino had cheated, but that he would become a father in the fall.

“It’s a difficult thing to navigate — honestly, I would have rather not said it, just to avoid the inevitable backlash and gossip, but at the same time, people in their lives already knew of course and a baby isn’t something that can remain private in the future,” she said. “I definitely didn’t want it to look like I wasn’t aware of the full situation, but at the same time, I truly just don’t want the drama and the gossip.”

“I’m hurting and all of that just compounds it. I’m looking forward to a more positive future," she said.

The new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life premieres Nov. 10 on TLC.
