Dr. Pimple Popper’s show may be done for the season, but there’s a new doctor on air to fulfill all of your gross-out needs: The Toe Bro.
Okay, so his actual name is Jonathan Tomines, and he’s a registered chiropodist (a.k.a. podiatrist) at Mississauga Foot Clinic in Ontario, Canada. He actually gave himself the Toe Bro name when he first began posting videos of himself helping patients who see him for foot issues on YouTube. Apparently all that hard foot work paid off—the Toe Bro now has his own show on A&E called, you guessed it: The Toe Bro.
The Toe Bro premiered in early March on A&E, and he just posted a new video to his YouTube channel sharing a preview from his upcoming episode, along with a clip from a previous episode. And uh…you’re gonna have to watch it for yourself.
In the clip, the Toe Bro pulls off a woman’s sock, looks at her, and laughs. “It’s like something out of a horror movie,” the patient says. “I’ve never seen this before,” he says, before counting off all of the plantar warts on the pad of the woman’s foot (she had five all clustered together).
In another scene, he tells a kid that he has to remove a yellowed toenail and says, “Want to watch?” The kid’s way-too-casual response: “Yeah.”
But here’s where things get really unnerving: In the clip from last week’s episode, the Toe Bro’s patient is a former dancer named Jasmine who had to have an ingrown toenail removed. She freaked when the doctor numbed her toenails with a needle—so much so that she started screaming and crying.
Then, the Toe Bro digs in—you actually see him cutting off parts of her toenails. I’ll spare you the details, but trust me when I say that it’s super intense. Jasmine’s friend Emily was in the room at the time and had to actually leave because she nearly passed out from watching.
Check out the Toe Bro on A&E at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays. Just maybe don’t eat your bedtime snack while watching.
