Sean Botha’s passion for helping others lose weight stems from his own experience being fat shamed. The South African YouTube star details his weight loss journey in a video that he hopes inspires others.
Botha changed his diet because he “…decided it was enough,” according to the video. “It was time to prove what I was capable of,” he explained.
In just two years Botha went from 357 pounds to 194 pounds and a World Beauty Fitness & Fashion (WBFF) body builder.
So how’d he do it?
First, Botha tweaked his diet, which was the most challenging aspect. The YouTuber shows typical meals, which includes chicken, green vegetables, protein powder, egg whites, and oatmeal. Then, he incorporated cardio and strength training. In his first year, Botha lost 88 pounds.
He got serious in the gym after deciding to compete in the WBFF competition for physique transformations. The video includes snippets of Botha hitting the weight room to focus on strength training. Images depict Botha’s progress, which is truly remarkable.
Botha finally unveiled his final transformation in videos from the WBFF competition. He earned first place in the WBFF Transformation Division in 2018.
Unsurprisingly, the results have stunned fans on YouTube.
“If this isn’t motivating then i don’t know what is…… wow,” one person commented on YouTube.
“Thank you this is so motivational to get me back to my weight loss journey,” another fan wrote.
Now, Brotha offers online training and meal programs to help others on their weight loss journeys.
