Just five days after her (totally gorgeous) wedding, Kaley Cuoco underwent shoulder surgery—how’s that for a honeymoon?
Kaley, 32, revealed the news on Instagram Thursday, calling her surgery her “honeymoon” (she just married now-husband Karl Cook on June 30, after all). In one of the two photos, she’s recovering in a hospital bed; in the next, she’s laying on the couch, arm in sling.
“When your ‘honeymoon’ is shoulder surgery and your husband looks just as happy lol on the road to recovery – thank you for all the love and support,” she wrote. “❤️ knowing @mrtankcook I’m sure he will be posting tons of hilarious gems ?? thank god my hair color is on point (@clarissany)”

There aren’t tons of details on why Kaley had surgery, but given she just got married, Today.com suspects that it wasn’t planned.

The couple is definitely taking it in stride, though (seriously, could they be any more #relationshipgoals?). Karl’s even taken to posting amazing photos of Kaley’s recovery. Like this video of her snoring open-mouthed “like a distressed walrus”:

And this one of her “honeymoon glow.” (Poor thing, but also, LOL.):
Everyone has their own version of a newlywed glow….well @normancook yours is memorable? #shouldersurgeryhoneymoon

According to People, Kaley also posted a series of Instagram stories where Karl was trying to give her a top knot bun (and failing). Apparently it took 10 minutes to get it right.
IDK about you, but this #shouldersurgeryhoneymoon may just make their marriage even stronger—so maybe it was the perfect honeymoon to have (and, you know, I’m sure they’ll follow it up with an actual honeymoon soon).
