Fat loss is important for anyone, but many are unaware that some fats are more dangerous than others. Visceral fat, or belly fat, for instance is a type of fat which health experts warn about due to its location to several vital organs increasing serious health risks. Numerous studies have pointed to the benefits of a low-carb diet to help burn calories and banish the belly fat.
Eggs
Eggs are among the one of the healthiest foods a person can consume.
Eggs are rich in high-quality protein, healthy fats and many essential vitamins and minerals.
They also have a few unique properties that promote weight loss being both low in calories and nutrient-dense helping you to keeping feel fuller for longer and reducing the appetite.
Nuts and seeds
Many nuts and seeds are low in net carbohydrates and high in healthy fats, making them a perfect fit for a low-carb diet.
They are also high in protein, rich in healthy fats, and low in simple carbohydrates.
Nuts and seeds help stimulate the body to burn excess fat and help to shed the pounds. Nuts are packed with nutrients, antioxidants, magnesium and palmitoleic and oleic acid which promote healthy cholesterol levels and fat loss.

Lean protein
Protein is the most important nutrient when it comes to fat loss. Eating more protein can help fend off hunger by increasing levels of the fullness hormones.
Numerous studies have shown that protein can help boost the metabolism which promotes weight loss and visceral fat loss.
Dairy products
Dairy products are packed with whey, a protein that helps promote the formation of lean body mass which in turn helps you burn more calories.
Because dairy contains a high level of protein, it helps keep you feeling full and satisfied.
Some research has found that a diet rich in dairy may also directly promote weight loss.
A study published in Obesity Research showed that obese individuals who ate a diet rich in dairy lost significantly more body fat and weight than other individuals eating the same number of calories but following a low-dairy diet.
Fresh fruits and vegetables
Having a diet that is more plant-based will help eliminate visceral fat.
The water and fibre in fruits and vegetables adds volume to dishes.
Apples in particular are packed with healthy flavonoids and fibres that may help burn belly fat.
