Dog parents of London, you can take your pups for a free bottomless brunch next Sunday.
Poke House in Battersea Power Station is hosting the furry playdate of a lifetime to celebrate the launch of the Poke Pup Club, a new dog walking club that has been set up to help Londoners make new friends.
The pop up brunch will take place on Sunday, 4 June at 11am.
Dogs will get bottomless water and a free pup-friendly poke bowl crafted by dog nutritionist Cam Wimble, which will contain quinoa, cooked chicken, red cabbage, courgette and nori seaweed.
Wimble said: ‘Dog’s thrive from a balanced diet and what a lot of people don’t know is that vegetables can be very important to their dog’s general wellbeing.
‘We’ve created a protein-rich bowl with lots of delicious chicken and have even included quinoa as it contains all 10 essential amino acids for dogs to keep them mobile and their coat glossy.
‘Prebiotic fibres in the cabbage and the soluble fibres in the courgette work to keep your dog’s gut healthy and support their immune system.
‘All topped with Nori seaweed, which is a great source of iodine, which will help support healthy hormone function.’
Meanwhile, owners will get a free coffee before taking their dogs on a walk around the area.
There’ll also be experts on hand to offer advice and tips for training your dog.
The weekly free coffee morning and dog-walking club will continue to take place every Sunday throughout summer – sans the bottomless brunch, unfortunately for your pup.
You can get tickets for the free pop up now and sign up to join the Poke Pup Club here.
Holly Hilton, Poke House UK Marketing Manager, said: ‘Since we opened in Battersea, we have had lots of guests come and dine with their dogs, and with so many people walking their dogs in the area, we thought why not start a club for people to meet other dog mums and dads?
‘The event to kick-off the Poke Pup Club will not just allow people to meet other local dog lovers, but for our pup pals to experience a bottomless brunch of their own and leave with some new-found furry friends.
‘We’ve always been a dog-friendly restaurant and we just became friendlier!’
