Grab your party hats, because Krispy Kreme is turning the big 8-2 this year, and you better believe the doughnut chain is cooking up something sweet to celebrate. On July 15, Krispy Kreme stores will begin offering an Original Filled Birthday Batter Doughnut, a brand-new, festive confection straight out of your wildest dessert-loving dreams. The limited-time creation is a glazed doughnut injected with creamy birthday cake batter, dipped in pink strawberry icing, and topped with multicolored party sprinkles. So, uh, are you drooling yet?
This isn’t the first time Krispy Kreme has stuffed its beloved glazed doughnuts with a smooth filling, as it dropped Classic Kreme- and Chocolate Kreme-filled doughnuts last month to satisfy our Summer sweet tooth. The new Original Filled Birthday Batter Doughnut will only be available from Monday, July 15 through Sunday, July 21, so mark your calendars and start planning your Krispy Kreme run STAT!
