The local designer sale circuit continues this week, with Ginger and Smart and Camilla and Marc leading the charge.
Ginger and Smart which focuses on feminine designs and ethical materials has up to 80 per cent off samples and their seasonal core pieces, as well as swimwear, their Akin sister line and accessories. In a similar fashion to other major design sales, expect large queues.

In case you missed it in last week’s edition, Camilla and Marc are next on the Paddington Town Hall’s sale calendar. The label is renowned for contemporary designs, flattering silhouettes and attention to detail. Its sale will give shoppers 75 per cent off past-season styles and rare one-off samples.

Celebrating the island life, jewellery brand By Charlotte is having their annual two day warehouse sale in Paddington with up to 75 per cent off past season styles and one-off samples. The dainty jewellery pieces are inspired by makeup artist Charlotte Blakeney, with the Lotus flower at the core of designs. Puma has upped the ante in the athleisure game lately with the Rihanna Fenty Range, Minion collaboration and Kylie Jenner’s campaign shots. After their Basket Heart collection sold out, there is a new kid on the block- the Suede Heart Reset as part of the ‘Do You’ campaign. Cara Delevingne is back at the centre of the campaign iteration which aims to encourage conversation around women being confident, motivated and never willing to compromise style.
The shoes come in three shades Aruba Blue, Prism Pink and Soft Fluo Yellow and have suede uppers. They’re finished off with Instagram worthy ribbon laces. They are limited-edition and given the last collection’s popularity, you’ll have to get in quick.

Ted Baker’s newly-opened store in Bondi Junction celebrates the beach.
Taking inspiration from Bondi’s Ocean pool and British outdoor swimming pools, known as “lidos,” the in-store design features change room inspired cubicles, repurposed lifebuoys as lights and coloured tiles on the roofand wallpaper panels inspired by painter Euan McGregor.
There’s not a drop of water in sight, but bespoke artistic features, including a collection of vintage swimwear and lifeguard whistles, will inspire a summer vibe even as we head into the cooler months.

There is always a place in our wardrobes for the classic black or beige ankle boot, but if the fall/autumn runways in the world’s major fashion capitals are anything to go by, it is time to invest in obscure and futuristic designs. And if celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Rihanna and Kendall Jenner are anything to go by, it’s all about boots with luxed-up prints, perspex and fabrics.
