A YOUNG woman has revealed her mom's opinions of her scantily clad beach outfit.
She told viewers in a TikTok video that her mother thought her choice of swimwear was inappropriate.
Lifestyle creator Kennedy Olson (@kennyolsennn) is based in Kingston, Ontario in Canada.
The 21-year-old showcases the many random moments in her life online.
In a TikTok video, she gave viewers a sneak peek at her relationship dynamic with her mother.
Kennedy's mom had some thoughts about her choice of swim style.
The video consisted of a back-and-forth interaction, where the content creator acted out a conversation between herself and her mom.
She was visible from the neck up and she wore a red bikini top as she mouthed along to the background audio.
"My mom: That bathing suit is too skimpy. I can see your a**," the subtitle over her head read.
"Me: Mom it's 2020. Literally, nobody cares," the next subtitle read.

Her mom said back that the look was still inappropriate and questioned why she needed to show herself off like that.
The last subtitle read: "Me: Cause I can???"
To emphasize her point, Kennedy wrote in the video caption, "Gen X amirite?"
There were different opinions in the comment section of the video about how she wanted to show off her body.
