A GARDENING fan has shared her completely organic bug repellent that will kill aphids.
This super-quick garden hack will only take you five seconds but the effects will last a lot longer.
This tip is an alternative to other pest control methods because it is non-toxic.
You will find no chemical traces in this hack, but it will keep pesky bugs at bay.
Instead, all Basil and Booze (@basilandbooze) — who has over 22,000 like on her TikTok — used was kitchen waste.
Her platform is populated with useful hacks for around the garden, which often involves putting food waste to good use rather than chucking it in the trash can.
“Did you know this?" she asked in her post. "Five-second garden hack."
In the video, she held a generous handful of orange peel. This was the secret to her gardening hack.
“Sprinkle orange peel around the garden to kill aphids and other small bugs."
That was it, job done. Commenters to her post confirmed the efficacy of her bug repellent.
