Mum-of-three offers a double room in her £4m Primrose Hill home for FREE to another single parent

Fran, 40, lives in Primrose Hill, where the average property price is £1.5 million, but she's renting her spare room out for free to another single parent.

Fran's new flatmate would be living with her nine-year-old, four-year-old twin boys and two cats – in the "large" five-bed house, which normally sell for upwards of £4 million in the area.

Posting on Spare Room, she generously said: "You will have your own gorgeous, sunny, newly furnished large double room (either twin or double bed) and private ensuite bathroom.

"There is the possibility of another room in the house free if your child needs it.

"By sharing a house I’m hoping for company, mutual support and to foster a warm, nurturing, proactive environment in the house in which to raise our children!"

Fran's house is a 10-minute walk from Swiss Cottage Tube station, with the room coming fully furnished and boasting a walk-in wardrobe – all for a deposit of just £300.

People have taken to Twitter to praise her for "radical" move to help combat London's housing crisis.

One woman called it "the most beautiful thing what a sweet heart".

Primrose Hill is a fancy area of London found just North of Regent's Park, with Harry Styles, Kate Moss, Jamie Oliver and Daniel Craig among its famous residents.
