The Duchess of Sussex flew in to her native America to spend some quality time shopping and catching up with friends before the baby is born, rumoured to be due in April.
The 37-year-old attended the plush Mark Hotel in the Big Apple, where friends had thrown a baby shower for the former actress.
Dozens of flowers were ordered to the hotel ahead of Meghan’s arrival, and the Duchess’ friends of were spotted bringing gifts.
Among the haul of presents Meghan received was that all-important crib.
Meghan’s friends splashed out on a $379 (£290) Hudson crib, from Babyletto, which is a 3-in-1 convertible crib with toddler bed conversion kit.
With Meghan overseeing the multi-million revamp of Frogmore Cottage, where she and Prince Harry will raise Baby Sussex, the mum-to-be has reportedly chosen a neutral theme of greys and whites.
The crib comes in a range of shades, including all grey and a grey-and-white option, so it will fit right in with Meghan’s colour scheme.
The website describes the crib as: “Featuring stylish rounded spindles and an open modern silhouette, the Hudson Crib is made with eco-friendly, non-toxic materials.”

The Mokee Mini Convertible Cot, which transforms from a crib to a mini-bed, comes in six different shades – including pinks and blues – if you’re opting for a more colourful nursery.
The website described the crib as: “This mini-cot with its fashionable colours, minimalist Scandinavian design and many customisation options is made to completely match your needs.”
Royal fans were eagerly awaiting any sign of the baby’s gender at the baby shower, with pink roses and blue wrapping paper giving nothing away.
Pals, including her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, were seen arriving bearing blue gifts.
Seven-months-pregnant Meghan jetted to New York for some luxury retail therapy and quality time with friends, including her informal stylist Jessica Mulroney.
Meghan was also spied shopping for baby clothes at pricey store Bonpoint, and enjoying a spot of tea at the French Ladurée cafe in New York’s SoHo district.
We revealed the nursery is set to have a gender-free neutral colour scheme, with no blues or pinks in sight.
Meghan is said to have 'looked long and hard' before deciding on the toxic-free paint brand for the nursery.
