Kate Middleton opts for country chic in £900 outfit as Ireland tour continues with William

Kate Middleton looked casual in her second outfit of the day wearing a khaki jacket in Ireland. The royal joined Prince William, 37, as they were at Teagasc research farm in County Meath. The visit came as part of an official visit to Ireland between Tuesday 3 March and Thursday 5 March.

The Duchess showed off her slim frame in a khaki green belted jacket that pulled her in at the waist.

Her design was the Friel Utility Jacket which is on sale for £299.

The casual garment had pockets at the front and was slightly cropped, cutting off just below the hips.

Kate styled the jacket with the collar slightly open giving a peek at her shirt underneath.

The item had a frilly neckline with a tie bow at the front, from Barbour x Alexa Chung, £100.

Changing from a polka dot number earlier today, the royal wore a monochrome white shirt with a black square design across it.

Kate paired this with thick black skinny jeans tucked into knee high brown leather boots.

She showed her thrifty side wearing the Penelope Chilvers Long Tassel Boots, £475, that she was first spotted in more than 10 years ago.

The Duchess was spotted laughing with her husband as toured the farm in Carlow.

She dressed up the casual look wearing a pair of drop silver hoop earrings.

The accessory gave a nod to the country she is visiting as they featured a shamrock, Ireland’s national plant.

Kate wore her freshly cut brown locks down and she ditched her signature bouncy blow-dry for a straight styling.

Keeping her daytime make-up simple, the Duchess touched up with a coat of mascara and pink lipgloss.

Prince William also looked smart wearing a matching khaki waterproof coat with a fleece lined hood.

He wore it with a light blue jumper over a matching checked shirt and dark blue skinny jeans.

Earlier today, she stepped out wearing a classy cream coat first spotted 12 years ago.

The fit and flare jacket had a crossover top and six large black buttons down the top.

The royal was first seen in the garment as she celebrated her 26th birthday at a nightclub party.

Kate styled the look with black skinny jeans and a pair of black boots with a small heel.

Underneath, the royal showed off her fashion forward look in a black and white polka dot shirt.
