IT’S been a week since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed baby Archie into the world.
But Kate Middleton and Prince William still haven’t gone to visit the newest family member – and his grandad Prince Charles has been absent as well.
Archie Harrison was born at 5.26am on Monday morning, and over a week later is yet to meet a number of members of the royal family.
Despite not having met little Archie yet, Prince William and Kate Middleton have gushed about how excited they are to see their young nephew.
And they might not have long to wait now, as a royal expert has claimed they plan to finally meet Archie tomorrow.
Speaking on Good Morning America, royal expert Omid Scobie said: "Archie's first week at home with mum and dad was quiet, they wanted that personal space with their newborn.
"This week it's all about the visitors with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visiting tomorrow and the Prince of Wales visiting later this week."
It is unsure if Kate and Prince William will be bringing their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – along to meet their cousin.
At the Cutty Sark William said: “We’re thrilled, absolutely thrilled and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down.
“I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting, so yeah, I’ll be looking forward to that.”
Archie’s birth on Monday took place as Prince Charles and Camilla flew to Germany for a four-day Brexit tour.
It was thought they were hoping to pop into Frogmore Cottage last week, but apparently the trip was postponed.
Fabulous Digital contacted the palace but they declined to comment.
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan introduced Archie to the Queen and Prince Philip on Wednesday, the same day that they presented Archie to the world.
The historic picture, taken by their wedding photographer Chris Allerton, also showed Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland.
She was the first to meet baby Archie as she’s been staying with them at Frogmore Cottage and accompanied them to the Portland hospital last Sunday.
A spokesman for the Sussexes, said plans were on the diary for Kate, William, Charles and Camilla all to visit Frogmore Cottage.
Harry and Meghan's first born, who is seventh in line to the throne, made his world debut with his besotted parents at Windsor Castle two days after his birth.
The new parents appeared tired but ecstatic as they cradled baby Archie, with mum Meghan gushing "I have the best two guys in the world".
Gazing at his son, Harry said: "Parenting is amazing. It's only been what – two and a half days, three days – but we are just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and to be able to spend some precious times with him as he slowly starts to grow up."
Meanwhile, Prince Harry is leaving Archie and Meghan Markle to go abroad for a SECOND trip just weeks after the birth.
The royal is said to be keen to share the parenting load with Meghan, despite his calendar of engagements, and the palace confirmed he is changing Archie’s nappies.
It has been reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘will NOT reveal Archie’s birth certificate’.
