I’m tall & have a short husband – trolls are mean & bitter toward us just because he’s smaller but he oozes confidence | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed that she is tall and has since got married to her man, who is much shorter than she.

Samanda Di Fede, who recently tied the knot to her partner Stephen, explained that trolls are so hateful and bitter towards the newlywed couple, just because he is smaller.

But the bride claimed that she won’t let the keyboard warriors get her down and claims that Stephen oozes confidence and kindness.

Posting on social media, Samantha shared a clip from her special day, showing she and her husband during their big day.

The pair stood at the end of the altar, as Stephen attempted (and struggled) to remove Samantha’s veil from over her face.

Samantha bent down to make things easier for her husband, as she wrote: “It’s ok, you can laugh.”

The beaming bride then said: “Ladies, this is your sign to give the short guy a chance.

“For real, it’s ok.”

Alongside the short video, Samantha attached the hashtags #shorthusbandproblems, #shortguyproblems, #shorthusband and #tallwifeshorthusband.

However, the clip was met with a slew of mean comments from online trolls about the couple’s height difference.

In response, Samantha then shared a follow-up clip, clapping back to the host of messages from keyboard warriors.

Samantha replied directly to a nasty remark that read: “I’d rather s**t through a straw but thanks.”

To this, the bride responded: “A message to MANY of you bitter people out there.

“There’s been a lot of hateful people commenting on the fact that I married my husband even though he is shorter than me.

“It has been extremely hurtful to us both to see that after sharing such a vulnerable and beautiful moment of us getting married.

“Just a reminder: If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

“True love has no height, judgement, or hate…

“This day meant the WORLD to us. Every moment, even the funny ones.

“And as always, we are grateful to our friends, loved ones and virtual friends/supporters who love us and root for our journey.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @thedifedes, has clearly shocked many, as it has since gone massively viral and has quickly racked up 7.9 million views.

The comment section was largely divided – while many mean trolls were quick to share their nasty thoughts, others were eager to support the couple.

One person said: “Hell no, I LOWERED down my standards and NEVER AGAIN.”

Another added: “No I am gonna look like his momma.”

A third commented: “Hilarious.”

Whilst someone else rudely remarked: “Money.”

Despite this, at the same time, many social media users were eager to compliment the couple.

One user wrote: “You guys are such a beautiful couple.”

A second chimed in: “You are the winner here. You don't let something so insignificant to be an artificial barrier to a great love! You win by a country mile!”

Someone else penned: “Don't pay attention to the miserable people! Beautiful couple, beautiful wedding!”

Whilst another shared: “That’s a very secure man. He’s a keeper and you are a beautiful couple!”
