I haven’t shaved my armpits for nine years – trolls ask me if they smell and say I’m hairy like a man but I don’t care | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed that she hasn’t shaved her armpits in nine years and is often asked if they smell.

Fenella Fox explained that trolls will say she is ‘hairy like a man’, but she isn’t bothered by what people think – and it certainly won’t make her pick up a razor any time soon.

In a YouTube video, posted just 13 days ago, Fenella opened up about shaving.

In response to a question that she is often asked – “How long have you not been shaving for?” – Fenella opened up and revealed all.

She explained to her YouTube followers: “Honestly, I actually can’t answer this question with just one number, because there’s different parts of your body that you can shave right?

“There’s your face, your armpits, your toes, your legs, a few other places.

I haven’t shaved my body in 4 years – trolls say it’s gross but I don’t care

“Each part of my body has been shaved at different times, but around eight years now, maybe longer, is when I decided to stop shaving.

“I have experimented with little bits – I recently waxed my top lip, I buffed away the hair on my left leg, left the right leg the same, as it always is.

“I’ve not touched my armpit hair the longest, maybe nine years.”

Posting on TikTok under the username @fenellascorner, Fenella often confidently shows off her body hair.

In one clip, Fenella responded to a comment that asked: “Do your armpits smell more for having hairs?”

To this, Fenella explained: “Honestly I didn't really notice the difference from having it shaved and growing it out when it came to the way I smelt, but I did stop wearing deodorant after growing it out.

“One of the reasons for that was because I used to wear roll-on everyday and it didn't feel right.”

In another clip, which the brunette woman posted with the caption ‘women are hairy too’, Fenella wore a crop top and lifted up her armpits to show off her hair.

She explained that people compare her to a man as a result of her body hair.

The woman said: “I just used a tag in my last video and noticed that no-one has used that tag before.

“I used #hairylikeawoman, because I always get told that I’m hairy, like a man.

“But I’m not a man.”

But social media users were overwhelmingly positive in the comments and many were eager to normalise body hair.

One person said: “This armpit hair thing needs to be normalised.”
