I got a $10 tattoo in Las Vegas – I think it’s cute but everybody says it’s a huge mistake

EVERYBODY loves a good deal, but maybe a tattoo isn't the best thing to cut costs on.

Not only do they need to be done by a trained professional, but tattoos could also do some serious damage without the proper tools and preparation.

However, one woman said she had a "fun" experience and was left was a "cute" tattoo, despite only paying $10 for it.

The woman shared her experience in a video, in which she and her brother went to get the "famous" $10 tattoos at a shop in Las Vegas.

She said they were two of the first people in the shop when it opened, yet there was already a line of eager customers behind them.

In the video, the woman showed off a tattoo book filled with $10 designers she and her brother could choose from, which were all small and simple.

The shop also offered more detailed tattoos that ranged from $20 to $40.

She opted for a bow on her wrist, while her brother chose a heartbeat design.

She wrote in the video: "My little tattoo is cute," but people in the comment section were a bit concerned.

One comment pointed out: "They didn’t shave his arm first," which referred to the woman's brother, while another read: "Says a lot about a place that doesn't prep the area being tattooed."

Someone else added: "10$ infections."

"This does not seem like something to go cheap on," one person also wrote.

However, there were plenty of other people in the comments defending the tattoo shop and the woman's tattoo, like one who wrote: "This is the best location out of the $10 shops.

"Got several from here. Very clean, great staff. Just a cute fun thing to do in Vegas, not a Picasso."

Another added: "Those lines are clean too," while someone else wrote: "So I got this and nothing happened it’s just a normal tattoo lmao."

Meanwhile, one tattoo artist had a client that knew the exact design they wanted, except there was one glaring error.

Additionally, one woman asked for a pastel-colored rainbow tattoo, however, it came out so bad it looks like it was drawn on with Crayola.
