Five girls got to secretly spy on their men’s antics abroad and one was reduced to tears when she saw footage of his bold flirting with a girl at a pool party.
On Channel 5’s Undercover Girlfriends, five unsuspecting boyfriends jet to Marbella thinking they are on a VIP lads' trip.
What they don’t realise is that their other halves are set up in the luxury villa next door watching their every move via hidden cameras and microphones.
Girlfriend Nicole, 24, from London, already has trust issues with her boyfriend, coming into the holiday, and is devastated when this is tested on Monday’s episode.
She has been with cheeky chappy Marco, 22, for two years, but their relationship has broken down in the past.
Nicole admits her insecurity goes back further than Marco, and says: “I’ve always had trust issues because my ex-partner cheated on me. I was always snooping looking for something but never finding.
“I’m a bit of a crazy girl and I was a bit of psycho so he broke up with me.”
Marco says to the boys: “She is paranoid but I have given her my password to my Facebook and Instagram. After a point it got to the stage where I was like if you don’t trust me, I’m not going to be with you.”
But it turns out that the pair’s relationship is more complicated than first meets the eye.
Nicole said: “In the year that we broke up, it’s a bit dramatic but he slept with someone. She ended up falling pregnant.
“When I found out he was the father, I was so distraught. It’s because it was something that we planned in our future and we’ve always said we are not going to have children with anybody else, we just want to be family.
“I actually really want to trust him but it’s really hard.”
Nicole, and the rest of the girl gang, Claudia, 27, Rosie, 21, Tyler, 22, and Ericka, 22, take part in the ultimate dating heist, watching their men enjoying a lively Marbella pool party.
Nicole jokes: “This is like normal for me, because I spy on him sometimes.
“I’ve had a tracker on his phone before and when I’ve put a track on his phone he’s lied to me about his location so that’s why I’m really worried about what he’s like or what he’ll tell me because he lies.
“He’s such a liar.”
She’s hoping that going on the show will prove to her that she has nothing to worry about with Marco.
Nicole says: “This is someone I want to spend my future with, or wash my hands with. I feel like this will really help our relationship. Who knows, I might even ask him to marry me.”
However, Marco falls at the first hurdle in her opinion, causing her to break down in tears and regret signing herself up the process.
Nicole watches as a swimsuit-clad girl hops on the day bed at the pool party next to her boyfriend, just metres from her undercover location.
Devastated Nicole says: “That girl is getting a bit close. He should just get up. Marco is flirting with a girl.
“This is really p**sing me off Ericka. Look how they are touching like that.”
Clearly enjoying himself and his beautiful companion, Marco can be heard saying the cameras are there because he is famous, and the topic of her being single even comes up.
Nicole says: “Are you joking me? He just looked at her a*se. That’s not nice for me to watch. I’m fuming.”
Storming off to the bathroom in tears, Nicole says: “I don’t want watch any longer.”
Ericka says: “I’d be the same if I saw that. He’s not being very nice at all.”
Will their relationship survive the test over the week? And will any of the other boyfriends risk everything for a holiday fling?
