Bora Kim and Joshua Baron Segel were married May 11 at Lovett Hall, an events space in Dearborn, Mich. Rabbi Daniel Horwitz officiated.
Ms. Kim, 28, is an associate at Perella Weinberg Partners, a financial services company in New York, where she focuses on private equity and venture capital investments. She graduated from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Weekyung Hwang and Shinsop Kim of Seoul, South Korea. The bride’s father is the founder and chief executive of Addval Capital, an investment management company in Seoul. Her mother was a stay-at-home parent.
Mr. Segel, 31, is a vice president in New York focusing on private equity investments at Allianz Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Allianz SE, a Munich-based insurance company. He graduated from the University of Michigan.
He is the son of Cathy P. Segel and Mark Y. Segel of West Bloomfield, Mich. The groom’s mother, who is retired, was a kindergarten teacher at Donelson Hills Elementary in Waterford, Mich. His father is an insurance agent in Detroit for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance.
The couple met in 2012 when Ms. Kim was an intern in New York at Credit Suisse, a Swiss investment bank, where Mr. Segel was an analyst. They started dating in 2014.
