TV presenter Emily Hartridge has died in a car crash, aged 35.
Her family confirmed the tragic news in a statement on Instagram, revealing she had died after being involved in a collision.
It read: “Hi everyone. This is a horrible thing to have to say over Instagram but we know many of you were expecting to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once.
“Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away. We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten.
“She has touched so many lives it’s hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person xxx.”
Tributes have since poured in, with Davina McCall leading the celebrity outpour.
“My heart goes out to Emily’s family and friends. Such a shock. Sending you love and prayers," she wrote.
Made In Chelsea star Ashley James added: “Sending you all so much love. So devastated.”
Many have praised Emily for her fantastic attitude and inspiring mentality. “Emily is one of the most genuine, kind, funny, intelligent souls I’ve ever met, i am so heartbroken to hear this. Sending all the love I can possibly send to your family,” wrote one fan.
While another added: “Such an amazing and inspiring woman. so so sad.”
Emily – who presented S***, I’m 30 and had over 300k subscribers on YouTube – was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision just after 8.30am on Friday.
