Jose Mourinho has reportedly been involved in another bust-up with one of his players – this time Antonio Valencia.
The Manchester United boss has clashed with several members of his squad and aimed a dig on Monday by suggesting "some care more than others."
It came after Mourinho stripped Paul Pogba of the vice-captaincy at Old Trafford last week before axing Alexis Sanchez for the defeat at West Ham .
And now the Mail reports Mourinho has become increasingly isolated and has now fallen out with skipper Valencia.
The Ecuadorian was not involved against West Ham but returned to training ahead of the Valencia clash.
It is claimed Mourinho was unhappy that Valencia did not attend the Carabao Cup encounter with Derby.
Valencia was not involved in the United squad but Mourinho felt he should have been there, as club captain, and subsequently dropped him for the trip to the London Stadium.
And the pair are now barely on speaking terms after Mourinho also criticised the player upon his return to pre-season training this summer.
It is unclear if Valencia will be restored to the starting line-up for the Champions League encounter with Diogo Dalot impressing in the first group game with Young Boys.
