Kevin Clifton was overheard bemoaning his fortune after a humiliating second week exit from Strictly Come Dancing .
The 36-year-old was the reigning professional champion after winning the Glitterball Trophy with BBC documentary maker Stacey Dooley, last year.
This time though, he has found it tough going after being paired with 61-year-old TV legend, Anneka Rice.
Before the series started, Kevin had predicted that he might struggle to get Anneka up to the level required to compete in the BBC dance competition.
This proved to be the case as Anneka's Charleston failed to capture the imagination of either the judges or the viewers at home.
