Stacey had revealed that the family had a ‘bit of a nightmare’ on Monday, explaining that Rex was taken to A&E where they were told he required stitches.
And it transpired that the ordeal was too much for Stacey’s fiancé and Rex’s dad Joe Swash, 39, as she told how he had to leave the room because he was too upset.

‘He hurt his lip so we took him into A&E and he had some little butterfly strips put on.’
She went on: ‘I’m going back today to get him proper stitches, because it’s in a really awkward place.’

Joe then shook his head, responding: ‘Honestly, when the kids are hurt I panic like nobody’s business.’
To which Stacey said: ‘He had to leave the room and he [Rex] wasn’t even crying! It was so funny. Bless him so, I’ll be looking after Joe today more than Rex. I love you.

The snap was taken as Stacey has taken the weight off her feet by heading off for a spa break with her sister Jemma.
She took to Instagram on Saturday to update her 4.5million followers about her trip – which included some hilarious gaffes after her sister drove the duo to the wrong spa forcing them to stay one night at the wrong spot.
It comes after Stacey candidly admitted that she was in ‘denial’ and wanted to ‘wait’ to share her pregnancy news publicly.

Before the drama: Hours before the hospital news, Stacey shared a snap of Rex happily playing on his inflatable garden slide, though it’s unclear at what point he had his accident
Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women on Friday, she told the panellists: ‘I don’t think having it out there was ever a worry. You know what I was like girls? I was in denial.
‘I was like, ‘Well you never know, it might not happen, it might not happen’. I think we just wanted to wait to a point where if it was happening, it was actually happening, hopefully.’
And while the former X Factor star and mother-of-three admitted that privacy has its benefits, she also loves being able to ‘share everything’.
She added: ‘Sometimes it’s nice to share everything so everyone’s part of every experience – good or bad. And sometimes it’s nice to just fester in a cave on your own. I’ve gotta stay safe and stay in!’

She explained: ‘They’re so excited. Rex has no idea. He’s not at that age. But I know that he loves his animals … I think he’ll love it.
‘We’re just so grateful and so privileged to be able to have another baby. We love being parents – it’s our favourite thing in the whole wide world and we cannot wait.’
Seeming to reference Stacey’s nickname for her children, pickles, co-panelist Nadia Sawalha also joked: ‘If it’s as girl you can call it Piccalilli and if its a boy Piccawilly!’
