‘We would like to extend our thanks to Richard Bacon and the entire team at Expectation plus all our celebrity sleuths for two series of the show.’

It comes after Stacey welcomed a baby daughter, Minnie, with her partner Kevin Clifton, 40, in January.

Strictly professional Kevin has since revealed he’s giving up all work in order to care for his six-month-old daughter.

Now after non-stop touring, the dancer revealed he wants to spend the rest of the year at home so he can be a stay at home dad.

Stacey has not announced if she’ll be slowing down, however, having just completed her whirlwind book tour.

The documentary maker has been in hot demand and revealed she’d returned to work a month after giving birth.

Yet Kevin is taking the rest of the year off, telling Digital Spy: ‘It went Singin’ in the Rain, Rock of Ages, The War of the Worlds, Burn the Floor, then I did The Games on ITV, Who Do You Think You Are? and then back to Singin’ in the Rain on tour. Then I started rehearsals for Strictly Ballroom the day after I finished Singin’ in the Rain.

‘By the time I finish in mid-July it will have been a 10-month tour of Strictly Ballroom. So, since we came out of Covid it’s just been back-to-back non-stop.’

He continued: ‘So, for the rest of this year I’ve decided I’m going to take a break from all performing work just to be a dad. I just don’t want to miss any of Minnie. So, yeah, my plan is to take a break as soon as this contract finishes.’

Kevin recently admitted that the couple are keen to expand their brood and give Minnie a younger sibling.

Speaking to OK!, he said: ‘Stacey’s already talking about Minnie needing a brother or a sister. I can see us having more kids if we’re lucky enough and it happens for us, but Minnie is a handful as it is at the moment!’

He added that he hoped that his children would have a similarly close bond to that of him and his younger sister Joanna Clifton.
