Actress Sophie Turner made an appearance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden, where James got Sophie to confess to her girlhood crush. Noting that she is now engaged to the “deliciously wonderful” Joe Jonas, James asked Sophie about her teenage obsession with Justin Bieber, and the Game of Thrones star admitted that she once had a life-size cutout of Justin that she kept in her room.
My Mom, as a gift … made a life-size cardboard cutout of Justin Bieber and I together. And I cried. I fell up the stairs and I cried. I have always loved Justin Bieber.”
Sophie then went on to share a story of a time when she first met Justin in real life:
I met him once … when we were in Miami and we were in this house and I walked upstairs and I was told Justin was there. And I walked upstairs and we were getting a tour of the house … so I go upstairs and he’s sat there shirtless and this dark room getting a head massage. And I was like, ‘Oh my God. This is amazing!’ So I was like, ‘hi, nice to meet you.’ And I like played it cool, then ran into a closet and cried.”
However, later, Sophie eventually came out of the closet and Joe tried to give her a proper introduction to Justin, only for Sophie to do something that led to the meeting taking an very awkward turn.
