Shawn Mendes and Khalid have teamed up for the music video for the track “Youth.”

The artists are using the video to call on fans to vote in the midterm elections; it’s all about the power of young people.

Shot in New York, the clip shows footage from Parkland High shooting survivor Emily Gonzalez‘s riveting speech at March For Our Lives.

The song begins with a prelude, “If you listen real close, you can hear the people in power shaking.”

The 7-8 minute visual features a bunch of talented children.

Mendes and Khalid have shared the video on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “Our youth is our strength, our vote is our voice.”

They are the latest in a series of artists encouraging their fans to come out and vote.
